On 25
th July 2016, at the Opening Ceremony of Viglacera Energy Saving Glass Factory, located at Tan Dong Hiep Industrial zone, Di An, Binh Duong province, Mr. Pham Hong Ha – Member of Party Central Committee cum Minister for Ministry of Construction- praised the precious words “Viglacera – Eternal Burning Flame” to the Management Board and Staffs of Viglacera Corporation. This is an important event for celebrating 42 years of Viglacera Corporation.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Khoa – Director of Viglacera Binh Duong Float Glass Company said ‘The investment in the first ‘Energy Saving Glass Production line’ in South East Asia follows up the policy of the Government and Ministry of Construction for the development of high technology, ‘green’, friendly with environment products, yet gaining high results on economical benefits. This is to create the strong step to join the worldwide organisation such as World Trade Organisation (WTO), Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP)’.
Viglacera’s project on Energy Saving Glass Production line with the target 5 million m2/ year is divided into two stages: Stage 1 with the target of 2.3 million m2/ year at Tan Dong Hiep Industrial Zone, Di An, Binh Duong Province; and stage 2 with the target of 2.3 – 2.7 million m2/ year in Bac Ninh province. The oustanding point of this project is to invite Von Ardenne GmhH (Germany) , known as the first wordwide leading company with 90 years of experience in Coating technology and equipments, to be the contractor for equipments and technology.
Witnessing the great efforts and outstanding success of Viglacera Corporation, Minister Pham Hong Ha strongly affirms ‘This is a new strong and decisive step of development of Viglacera Corporation’
Minster Pham Hong Ha re-affirms that Vietnam is seriously suffering from the negative results of climate changes, bad weather and hgher degree of sea level. Hence, Vietnam was joining Paris Agreement at the Global Climate Change Conference organised by The United Nations in 2015. Furthermore, in recent years, Ministry of Construction is diverting to plenty of activities and campaigns for motivating enterprises to change the production technology, consume the construction materials that are friendly with the environment, save energy, maximumly reduce industrial rubbish and bad affects on the environment. Minister Pham Hong Ha praises the new investment of Viglacera Corporation and confirms that this is the pioneering action to implement the policy of the Government and the Party as well as the Minstry of Construction. This is also a proper development direction of Viglacera Corporation which shows the high responsibility to the community.
It is emphasized that this is the the first energy saving project of Vietnam and South East Asia. It was executed just in more than one year after the approval of the Government in January 2015 which shows great efforts of Management Board and staff members of Viglacera Corporation. Minister Pham Hong Ha, on behalf of Ministry of Construction, highly appreciates the fast process of implementing the project and running the production line.
Minister Pham Hong Ha recognises the fast development of construction in Vietnam as well as the high demand of architectural glass in which 95% of glass production is for domestic consuming, hence, Mininster strongly believes that Viglacera Energy Saving Glass factory will gain success, together with other enterprises contribute for the economic and social development of Binh Duong province.
